I set up a Nextcloud instance.

Cloud storage services are rather expensive if you go above free tiers and object storage is rather cheap but uploading to object storage on its own is annoying and not convenient at all so I figured that I’d set up a Nextcloud instance to enjoy the cost savings of object storage with the convenience you’d normally find from paying for cloud storage services.
To do this with Nextcloud, I followed a guide from the official Nextcloud documentation to setup Backblaze B2 as primary storage for my Nextcloud instance.
Of course, there’s one issue….previews. Previews are great and all but they do take up space. So I’m planning on writing a cronjob that clears previews on a timer to address that.
